Mortgage loans, specifically, closed-end consumer credit transactions secured by residential real property, are subject to a number of federal lending laws and regulations, imposing requirements and restrictions on creditors throughout the application process.

Mortgage Origination is a one-day seminar that reviews the rules, primarily “compliance” but also including certain “safety and soundness”, that may apply to the creditor during the origination of a mortgage loan – from the initial interaction to closing.
